The Elders with Investigator(s)

Here are Elders Denter and McMullin with at least one investigator. Not sure who the others are.

Mission Update -- 10/28/09

Here's the first email we got today:

Hi.

Things are going well.

Bye!

I sent him one back that said:

What do you mean "bye"!! What's going on?

Mom

Here was his response:

Hahaha :)

Not funny Elder Comedian!! :-)

Then we got his real email and here it is:

Hey Family,

Things really are going well. I'm glad things are going alright at home. It sounds like everyone is busy! I hope your arm is feeling better Grandma!

Things are going super well here. We now have 4 investigators with baptismal dates, and will hopefully have a 5th tonight. Kayla Zaca will be baptized a week from Saturday. Kim Bradshaw will be baptized on the 21st. Amanda Alvarez and Alba are both scheduled to be baptized on the 28th. Mark Pope is thinking of a date, and is doing really really well. Thanks for your prayers. Keep them up!

Elder Ahlman and I have been busy, and are loving it. Here's what's gone on this week:

Last Wednesday we went to teach Alba at 5 PM. We ended up teaching some of their neighbors, Brad and Susan, as well. All of them committed to coming to church (and came). Mike helped us teach, and has done a great job at helping us out over there at Maple Terrace. After that, we drove over to the Popes' for dinner and a lesson. We had some great Chicken Visuvio. Brother Pope is a really good cook. After dinner, we taught the Plan of Salvation. It went almost ridiculously well. He not only fully understood it, but he actually was telling us how he thought there must be multiple degrees of heaven before we taught it to him. It filled in a puzzle piece he had, and he is planning on being baptized. He wants his friend, Brother Bently to come and baptize him. We're excited to meet Brother Bently, and to see Brother Pope make this step. He's got the persona of a Bishop, and will do really well in the church.

Thursday was pretty good. We did our weekly planning after the morning schedule, then went out for the day. We got tubed once, then went to teach Adam with Nancy. They're doing well, and we've set the Celestial Kingdom as a goal for Adam. We're now going to cover the steps to get there. We got tubed a couple times that day actually, but got to visit a few people. We taught Lorenszo Williams, who is another neighbor of Mike C. Our dinner had to cancel, but they ordered us a pizza. We went home and waited for it, then they gave us a big cheese pizza. We ate it pretty quickly... Then got a call from Domino's telling us they gave us the wrong pizza, and were bringing by the real one for us! We told them we already ate the first one, and they said, "Don't worry, it's on us!" There's something to write down when I count my many blessings.

Friday was pretty good. We got taken out to an early lunch by Brother Rann, who was in Naperville to practice the organ. That was really good. After that, we went to visit Sister Apodaca. She asked us to bring cookies, so we got her an oatmeal pie. She has diabetes though, so we really hope we didn't kill her. After that, we went to try to track down a less active sister, and that took us to a riciculously seedy hotel. They seemed to recognize the name, but told us she wasn't there. After that, we went to go teach Brad and Susan with Mike. That went well. After that, we went and saw Krista and her mother. They're doing well. The mom is very supportive of Krista coming to church. After that, we went to visit the Gamboas and teach them. They're doing well. They also are giving rides to Brad and Susan now. After that, we went to dinner at the Housers, and had a lesson with Kim. She is awesome. She's had some trials, and recently moved in with the Housers (she's Sister Houser's sister). The Housers and Nancy (Brother Houser's sister) have been sharing the Gospel with her, and she had come to church a couple times, but this was our first real lesson with her. She accepted a baptismal date, and will be baptized on the 21st! We're all excited for that. We had Stake Conference on Saturday and Sunday, and Kim told all of the Stake Presidency about her upcoming baptism. Pretty exciting.

Saturday was alright. Actually it was kind of lame. Pretty much everything fell through and is was nasty out. We tried to do stop bys and tract, but only taught a couple of lessons. We taught Tania, who is doing alright. She's following through with some big commitments, which is great. Her whole family caught the flu though, so they've been pretty messed up. Ufemia looked pretty ill. After teaching them, we went to Nancy's house. While we were there, Kim came over. We ended up teaching Kim with Nancy. After that, we tried to find and teach, but were unsuccessful. We did find one potential investigator tracting though. Kind of... Some kids told us to come back to visit their dad, because he's a deacon at a church and would be interested. We eventually had dinner, then went to the Saturday night session of Stake Conference. It went really well. Kim loved it.

Sunday was pretty good. Stake Conference went really well. We had a great turnout from investigators. Mark Pope got to meet some of the Stake Presidency and also the Patriarch. He's absolutely awesome. After church, we went home to eat and organize things. We did some finding too, and contacted that deacon. He was really friendly, and we'll stop by there again next week. After that, we went to dinner at the Clarks. They're great, and we had a good time. After dinner, we got tubed. It was dark, so we just went home. No tracting after dark. Bummer.

Monday was really good. We had Zone Leader Council, which was great. After that, we rushed back to teach Alba. Lorenszo sat in on the lesson too, as did Mike. After that, we went over to teach Kim. That went really well. Her biggest change was to quit drinking coffee, and she was totally fine with that. After that, we drove way the heck over to Naperville for dinner with the Harris family. After that, we drove right back to where we were before to teach the Zacas. They're doing really well, and are excited for the baptism. This ended a very busy, and very good day. Hey, I got that package by the way. The one from Dear Elder with the crazy eye. We had a lot of fun throwing that against the wall and watching it stick to it. It eventually broke and sprayed nasty goop all over Elder Ahlman, which was pretty wild! Hahaha. Thanks for the package though!

Tuesday was a great day. A really great day actually. In the morning, we went to visit Amanda. She's talked to her boss, and should get Sundays off now. She's set for baptism as well. After that, we went to the Hesed House. That was great. It was funny... We saw Lorenszo there. He's not homeless, but I guess he likes free lunch! After that, we went to visit Amy, who was a tracting come back. She has had a really tough life, but is pretty open to the Gospel. She's given up hope, but will give the Restoration a shot. We're excited to teach her more. After that, we went to Mike's to have our weekly Book of Mormon reading. He's doing well, and is a great member missionary. After that, we went to an appointment we had with a media referral. We got tubed. We ended up tracting the street, but didn't get anyone. After that, we went to visit Jeremy Hwang. He's doing well. We talked about fasting, and he's going to fast on Sunday... For breakfast. He's going to do one meal this month, then do two meals next month. After that, we went to the Gaffneys' home and gave them a reading calendar. We gave them a challenge to read every day, and gave them assignments. If they complete the Ultimate Challenge, they're going to get a prize. After that, we went to visit Alba and help her quit smoking. She gave a super sincere prayer, and is going to do it. We also gave her a blessing. She's doing well. After that, we went to visit the Matucks, and gave them a calendar too. They're doing well also.

Today should be good. We are going to teach Lorenszo at 5, then the Pope's at 6:30. After that, we're going to go on exchanges.

Well, I hope you all have a great week! Thanks for everything you do.

I love you.

Sincerely,
Elder Bradley E McMullin

Mission Update -- 10/14/09

Oops! I was on vacation last week and didn't post last week's update. Here it is -- out of order now!!

Hi Family,

I hope you're having a great cruise! And a great time recovering from surgery...

Well, we got transfer calls. I'm staying here, but poor Elder Denter is being transferred to Chicago to be a Chicago ZL. He's pretty bummed to leave. We've got some good stuff going on! He'll be able to come back for a baptism at least though.

So here's what's been happening:
Wednesday was really fun. We had Zone activity in the Stake Center. We played football in the gym, which was great. The English Sisters brought enchiladas for the whole Zone, which were really good, but pretty spicy. After Zone Activity, we went to dinner at the Coopers. That was pretty good. Brother Cooper is in the Bishopric, and is a New Yorker. After dinner there, we went to Tania's home for a lesson, which went well. She's really been feeling the Spirit lately, and is progressing. Before coming in for the night, we split for exchanges. I went to be with Elder Baum in Naper 6.

Thursday was good. Elder Baum and I did some finding, and eventually foung a new investigator tracting. We did some stop bys too, which were unsuccessful. We eventually went to Pizza Hut, and exchanged back. After that, Elder Denter and I went to Nancy's home to teach Adam. He's doing well. We also went to visit David and teach him. We did a few stop bys after that, then went home for the night.

Friday was alright. We taught Amanda in the morning. She's doing alright. After that, we went to lunch at a Thai restaurant, which was pretty good. After eating lunch, we visited Sister Apodaca, who is doing pretty much the same as always. We later taught Jose and his wife. Jose is so awesome. He is really progressing well. His wife just got a new medication to calm her down, so hopefully we'll see them at church soon. We then went to the Glavianos' home for a dinner and a lesson with the less active daughter. It went well.

Saturday was pretty great. We had a good MCM in the morning. After that, we hurried over to the Stake Center to meet Brother Giese. He took us to the Chicago Temple, which was great! It was pretty funny... There was a busload of missionaries from a Wisconsin mission. It was pretty neat talking to them. We went through the noon session, which was great. Elder Thornhill and Elder Hunt were in the session too! That's pretty funny, because last temple transfer Elder Thornhill happened to be there when I was too. It was great being there. After the session, we went to the book store. After going there, we went to Edwardo's in Skokie! We got 2 pizzas, which were good. I gave Clint Giese the extra $10 gift certificate afterwards. After that, we came back to go to a ward party. The ward party went well. Elitania and her family, as well as most of Nancy's family came to it. Nancy is doing great. She asked for a second calling, and got set apart as part of the activities committe. She really enjoyed working on this party.

Sunday was pretty good. We had the usual early morning meetings, then a great time at church. We've really had some exciting things go on. We got that referral for the Popes, which is turning out to be GREAT. Part member family where the nonmember husband just got really interested in the church, and wants his family to be active. They were there on Sunday, and are doing great. We've got our first appointment with them tonight. We also had Sister Houser's sister come, whose moved in with them, and we're going to start teaching too. Nancy has been working on her, and is getting her ready for baptism! So church was good. After church was good too. We went over to the Petersons to break our fast. They have us over every fast sunday, and we love it. After that, we went to teach the Gamboas. We then had a fall through, so we went to Nancy's and ended up teaching Adam. We also visited Tania when we were over there. After all that, we tried some finding I think, but it didn't work well.

Monday was good. We had our District Meeting, which was Elder Brown's last one ever. We then went and got some lunch. After that, we went to teach Amanda again. After that, we went tracting and found a few new investigators. We found Eugene and Lisa, who were actually just walking down the street. We started teaching them, and they asked us if we were the guys that talked about "William Smith." We gladly told them it was Joseph Smith, and they said alright, come on over and bring us a Book of Mormon. We also found a hispanic man that is pretty concerned with the state of the world. After all that, we went over to the Harris family home for some dinner. They live over in Naperville, so that's a long drive. We had a great dinner over there though. They cooked steak, which was yummy. They're a really great family, and do a lot for the Lord, which is graet. After that, we went to teach the Zacas with Sister Brown. Kayla is doing so well. They came to church again on Sunday, so things are looking great for the baptism. We're going to have it on November 7th now. We're changing the date because they want some relatives to come to it. That was the end to a good day.

Tuesday was transfer call day. Pretty crazy. We went to the Hesed House, which was pretty good. After that, we went to teach Tania, who is doing alright. After that, we went to visit Mike C. He just had surgery the day before, and is recovering well. We found a new investigator who was just sitting outside his apartment complex. It was pretty neat. She showed us how her dog can sing, then agreed to take the lessons. After that, we went to visit a less active senior, Doris Ksander. She's really nice, and has some great home teachers. You can always tell who really does their home teaching, because the people they teach will always bring them up. After that, we ate a quick dinner, then left for more appointments. We taught the Gaffneys who are some fairly recent converts. After that, we went to pick up a young man to take teaching with us. We took Christian to teach the Matucks, who are doing really well. He did a great job. We got the transfer calls in the evening too, which were pretty intense. Elder Denter was pretty upset.

Today will be good. We'll go around so Elder Denter can say bye to people. We'll then go to dinner at and teach the Popes.

Well, I love you all so much. Thanks for taking care of me. I appreciate your prayers, and everything else you do. Keep praying for missionary opportunities. I don't think it's happenchance that you have Cornwall again, Mom & Dad... You've got to share the Gospel with him! Tell him I say hi, then tell him about the Restoration... Or whatever the Spirit directs you to say! [Cornwall was our waiter on the cruise. We've had him as our waiter on 3 different cruises now, so that's what Brad is referring to. Ed did talk to him about Brad being on a mission now and they had a good discussion about it.]

You all have a great week.

Love,

Elder Bradley E McMullin

Mission Update -- 10/21/09

Things are going well! Elder McMullin's new comp. sounds like a great guy. Here's the update:

Hello,

Thanks for the email! I love to hear from you. It sounds like things are going well too. That's exciting Diane and Pat are coming down. That will be fun to take them to church to see Mookie's family! How is Grandma Boy doing by the way? Hopefully well. I got a halloween card from Randy, and have got to write to Snowflake! I'll get right on that. Please tell Randy and Lana I say hi too.

Well, things are going well here. The work is going so well. Elder Ahlman is my new companion. He is a great missionary. He's from Sandy, Utah. He really likes the Gospel, and football. We get along really well, and both want to work hard, so life's great. I talked to Elder Denter yesterday, and he is missing here, but he is doing well. We've got him baptizing Kayla, so he'll be coming back, which will be fun. The next day I'll be confirming her a member of the church.

Anyways, here's some of what went on this week:

Thursday was good. We went to transfers. It was crazy packed. There were so many transfers. President Roach was there too, because there was not a single missionary that came in this transfer. We've got a few coming in next transfer though. I took some pictures there which I'll send next week. This is Elder Gardner's last transfer. I really can't believe that. He says he's going to come to Arizona though & will see us and Elder "Snowflake" Stratton, which would be fun. After transfers, we had an appointment, so we came straight home to Naperville. We had a good day. We got tubed a couple of times, but then we had an appointment with a lady Elder Denter and I found a couple days ago. We were walking out of an appointment and she was sitting on a bench with her dog. We said hi, and she showed us how her dog could sing, then agreed to take lessons. So, Elder Ahlman went to the apartment complex and got buzzed in by her. We then went to what we thought was her door and knocked. A man told us to come in, so we did. It was the wrong door, but he wanted to learn about the Restoration. So we told him we'd come back soon, then taught the Singing Dog Lady, Alba. She ate it up, and agreed to meet the next day, and come to church on Sunday. We then went to teach Lorenzo, the man at the wrong door, and he agreed to continue learning and come to church too! We also did some stop bys and taught Brandon, and a few other people.

I don't have my old planner with me, so I'm not sure of all we did, but I'll give you some.

Friday was great. We taught a ton of people, and things just kind of worked out all the time. I can't remember who, days kind of mesh together out here without a planner. We did stop bys and tracting too though. Let's just say things went really well.

Saturday was pretty much the same as Friday. Great. We did have MCM, which was good, and a visit with the Adams. Sister Adams is now going to be our dinner calendar coordinator, which should be great!

Sunday was good too. It was pretty neat. We had our meetings and church, which went really well. A young woman brought 4 friends to church for a comparative religions class. We taught them, and answered a lot of questions for them. They enjoyed it, and hopefully will want to learn more. We're getting them copies of the Book of Mormon, and some other media. We had some good investigators there. Brother Pope is incredible. We had a lesson about templework, and he loved it. It was funny, the Zacas were running really late, so we ended up staying for the sacrament of another ward with them. That was pretty interesting. They marched up to the front row, so we followed them there. Darwin came, so it we were nervous they'd be wild. I made some quizzes for the talks, and gave them a prize if they got enough questions right... That kept them pretty calm. We had a good rest of the day. Sunday ended one of the most lesson packed weeks ever.

Monday was pretty good. We had district meeting, which went well. After that, we went out to tract for a while. We then took lunch, and decided to make a new map. That went kind of well, but we eventually just decided to use an old one. We then went out to do stop bys and find. We went to an appointment with the Gaffneys in the early evening, which went well. We gave a couple blessings, which were appreciated. We had Sister Brown with us there, which was nice. After that, we hurried over to the Capeners for dinner. We had pancakes, which were good. After a lesson, we went over to the Zacas, once again with Sister Brown, and taught Kayla and Sister Zaca. They're doing really well, and are excited for the baptism. They're going to bring in the extended family for the baptism. After that, we headed home.

Tuesday was another good day. We taught Amanda in the morning. She committed to talk to her boss and get Sundays off from work (she just got the job, and is in training). After that, we went to the Hesed House. They had us going on the computer to find potential jobs for the residents at the shelter. While information was printing, I went onto family search to look at our family history. I found out something incredible. Willard Glover McMullin, my Grandfather's Great Grandfather, the first convert in the McMullin line (as far as I could find), helped build Pioche Nevada. I'm not even kidding. After going on a mission to England, traveling west, and helping build the Saint George Temple, he moved to Pioche, Nevada and helped build it. You ought to show that to Diane and Pat. (see www.worthens.com/node/15) Well, the rest of Tuesday was really good too. We taught Mike C after the Hesed house. After that, we went over to visit Alba, and it started to get really good. She watched the Joseph Smith movie and liked it.... And accepted a baptismal commitment, and set a date for November 28th! Awesome! After that, we went tracting, and found a couple investigators. We also stopped by the Langston's home and were able to teach Charles, and give him a blessing. Eventually, we went to dinner at the Israelsens' home, which was good. After that, we went to teach the Matucks, who are doing well. That ended a good day of proselyting.

Today should be good. We're going to teach Alba at 5, and are going to the Popes' home for dinner and a lesson at 6:30. We're excited for it.

Well, you all take care. I love you, and appreciate all you do for me. Have a great week, and send me some pictures of the cruise! Send me a picture of Matt Bentz and his fiancé too!

I know the Book of Mormon is true, because I've prayed about it and got an answer. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet. The Restoration is so important. Because of it, our lives can be improved with the knowledge and power of the Restored Gospel. I love our Savior, and am grateful for the opportunity to serve Him. Look for opportunities to help others gain a testimony of Him and His Gospel. Never be afraid to share your testimony. If any of us err, it is on the end of not being bold enough. A true measurement of one's conversion is their desire to share the Gospel with others. Keep it up, and endure to the end!

Love,

Elder Bradley E McMullin

Mission Update 10/7/09

All is going well! We received a flash drive from Brad a couple of days ago with several pictures on it and three little videos. At some point I'll try to post them, but for now, enjoy the email:

Hello Family,

It's good to hear from you. That will be so fun you're going on a cruise! Send me some pictures of that. Is any other family going?

It was pretty fun going to the mission office a couple days after Dad! Thanks for bringing that stuff in! It's pretty nice, there's an Edwardo's pretty close to the Chicago Temple, so we'll be able to go get some on Saturday! Yum.

Ok... You asked for what I want for Christmas. How about an IOU for a ski pass for Winter 2010-2011? Or maybe a personal trainer IOU since I'm not in the greatest shape ever? Or a new suit for when I get home? Hahaha, I don't really need anything much out here on my mission. Just give the girls extra presents! I wouldn't mind more nice socks actually.

Yep, you said we've got transfers next week, and we do. We're both thinking we'll probably stay together... Which will be our 3rd transfer. I don't know why, but it seems like that will happen. It should be pretty interesting to see what else happens in the Zone.

Oh... Here's the investigator update. Kim is no longer set for baptism next Sunday. She wasn't quite as open with her parents as she made it sound, and they want to learn more before they let her get baptized. She still really wants to, and they're pretty open, so it should be fine. I'll let you know what's new there. There is good baptismal news though... Kayla is going to get baptized on October 24th! They've come to church, and are doing really well, so she'll be good to go!

Here's what happened last week:

Last Wednesday, we went to dinner at the Rosas' home for dinner after playing tennis. It was great.

Thursday was pretty good. We prepared for Stake MCM, which is always on the 1st Sunday. After that, we went to visit and teach Amanda. She's doing ok, but not great. After that, we went and taught the less active Sister D. She's "Baptist" and pretty funny. After that, we visited Sister Apodaca, then David. After seeing both them, we went to teach Krista and Jessica. They're doing well. They went on a road trip to Oklahoma with their family over the weekend. After that, we went to dinner at the Houghtons. It was pretty fun over there. They've got really funny kids. After that, we went over to the Zacas home, and had a good lesson with the family. Kayla and her mom accepted a baptismal date, and are pretty excited for the baptism. We are too. After that, we went over to Elitania's home to teach her. She's doing pretty well, and is reading the Book of Mormon still. Her gas has been off for a while, and she's been a little ill, but she'll be fine. After that, we went home.

Friday was pretty good. We had President's interviews / District Meeting at the mission office at 11. That was pretty good. I got Dad's stuff when I was there. President and Sister Roach said thanks for what you gave them, Dad. After that, we went to finish Stake MCM. One companionship didn't give information up, so we had to wait to get it. After that, we went to teach Nancy. After that, we went to the Gamboas. We did some stop bys, and had an overall pretty slow day after that.

Saturday was great! We had a lot of General Conference to watch. We had a meeting with the Assistants before the first session, which was good. After that, we all went to the Stake Center to watch Conference. It was great. Between sessions, we drove to Aurora to teach David, and try to get him to come to Conference. He told us it was "eternally boring" and that last time he watched it, he was scarred for life. Quite the hyperbole. We gave him President Dieter F Uchtdorf's talk to watch on the computer, and figured that would be good. After that, we drove all the way back to the Stake Center for the second session. That was great. After that, we came back to Aurora with the intention of doing stop bys. There was traffic, and there was very little time, so we just ate some dinner. After that, we went all the way back for Priesthood session, which was great.

Sunday was really good too. We had Stake MCM at 9:30. That went well. The Zone surpassed last years total over the last month, and is doing extremely well. August was the best month in 3 years at least, and possibly even the history of the Stake. The leadership is getting really excited, as are we. After that, we watched Conference, which was great. Between sessions, we went to the Taylors' home. They're a family in the Naperville 1st Ward. The Taylors, and the Mannings (the family of the missionary work High Councilman) had almost the entire Zone over for lunch. It was great. After that, we drove to Aurora to watch Conference at the Zacas' home. That went well too. After that, we went over to dinner at the Verhaarens' home. Brother Verhaaren is an archaeologist. Pretty neat. That ended up being about it for the day.

Monday was pretty good. We went to the Spanish District's District Meeting. After that, we exchanged. Elder Solis came here to Naper 4 with me, and Elder Denter went with Elder Yarrington to speak Spanish for the day. Elder Solis and I had a great day. It was fun to hear about his home country Peru. His dad was a mission president over there, and they would have close to 4000 baptisms a year in that mission! Our goal for the year is 275, and that is considered incredible here! Crazy. Anyways, we went to visit the Gamboas, and had a good lesson there. After that, we went to a doctor's appointment Elder Solis had so he could get some shots. It went well. After that, we went to visit a less active family whom I had cold called out of the ward list the other day. It turns out it's a huge part member family that is super nice, and really interested. The Akrongs are looking good, and hopefully we can see them progress really well. Sister Akrong is from Ghana, and has an adopted daughter living with her. The adopted daughter, Kelly, has got 5 kids and has lately been feeling like she needs to attend a church. We're excited to help her out. After that, we went to the Mitchells for dinner. Brother Mitchell is a High Councilman, and was preparing a talk on Preach My Gospel, so we had a lesson about that. After that, we went over to share a message with the Adams family. Brother Adams is a religious scholar, and is really smart. We enjoy going over there to "teach" and learn a lot from questions we ask him. We had a good time there, then went home for the evening.

Tuesday went well too. We taught Amanda Alvarez in the morning before exchanging back. We then exchanged back. Elder Denter and I went straightaway to the Hesed House. It was crazy there. There was a fight. They took the two men into the office, where I happened to be. They closed the door, and I got the opportunity to be about 5 feet away as they sorted things out, and ended up kicking a guy out of the shelter. Soon after that, a man had a siezure, and the paramedics were called. That was all the excitment for the day, but it was definitely enough. After leaving the Hesed House, we went to read the Book of Mormon with Mike C. He's doing alright. After that, we went to stop by and tract. We had some good tracting in the rain, but didn't find an investigator. We got a good potential though. After that, we went to visit Brandon and Nancy. We took Brandon with us to teach Krista and Jessica, who are doing alright. After that, we took Brandon home, then went over to the Newcombes' home for dinner. We helped them prepare and eat chicken parmesan. It was good. They're family is really nice, and they've got a genius daughter. Jenna just turned 8, and was great at giving really in depth answers to questions. She even at one point told us how rainbows are the sign of the covenant that God made with Noah that he would never flood the earth again. She also wants to be a Sister missionary, and will make a great one! That was pretty much it for the day. We did some deep cleaning when we got home in the evening though, which was good to do.

Today should be fun. We're going over to the Stake Center to play some indoor soccer and have fun. We've got a dinner with the Coopers (some New Yorkers), then have an appointment with Tania, then will go on exchanges with the Naper 6 Elders.

Well, I'm enjoying my service of the Lord, and love His work. I love you all, and am grateful for all you do for me. Keep looking for missionary opportunities and share the Restored Gospel with others! Have a great week, and a fun cruise.

Love,

Elder Bradley E McMullin

PS you got all the pictures I sent
